Test-day checklist
- Book the knowledge test through Bristol City Council taxi and private hire licensing (check the council's website for dates and fees).
- Bring the photo ID and booking confirmation the council asks for; arrive early.
- No notes, phones or smart watches during the test.
- Revise local policy and licence conditions, fares, local area and routes, the Highway Code, safeguarding and equality.
- Check the pass mark, retake rules and waiting period on the council's licensing page before you sit.
