Test-day checklist
- Book the knowledge test with Sevenoaks District Council licensing (sevenoaks.gov.uk).
- Bring photo ID and arrive early.
- Format: computer multiple choice, 58 questions (hackney carriage) or 56 (private hire), 90 minutes. You need 80% in each category and 100% on the compulsory questions.
