Test-day checklist
- Book the knowledge test with Stroud District Council licensing (stroud.gov.uk). It is taken at the council offices.
- Bring photo ID and arrive early.
- Format: 85 multiple-choice questions including basic maths. Pass mark 80% (67), with at least 8/10 in Taxi Law & Policy and 8/10 in the Highway Code.
- The test can be taken verbally on request. A fee is charged for each attempt.
